The 2021 Action of Immediate Witness of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) is to “Defend and Advocate with Transgender, Nonbinary, and Intersex Communities.” Today’s message will be presented by Megan Kuykendoll, a Miami faculty member who is currently Secretary for Oxford Area PFLAG. Megan will focus on the role of advocacy, an important aspect of Hopedale as a Welcoming and Affirming Congregation. This will serve as a kickoff for a four-part Adult RE program, a book group discussion of He/She/They:  How We Talk About Gender and Why It Matters by Schuyler Bailar (he/him/his).
