Sunday Service: The Free and Responsible Search for Truthiness: A Short History of Alternative Facts 

“Truthiness” was defined by TV personality Stephen Colbert as the belief that truth is what you feel to be true, rather than what the facts support. This attitude sometimes seems to be a defining characteristic of our current public discourse. We appear to have entered a new era of “truthiness.” But momentum for this development has been building for several decades at least. We’ll look back at developments that brought us to this point.
