Dennis McCarty, a self-described “gentle atheist,” will discuss a doctrine which continues to influence American culture.  The Doctrine of Original Sin has been abandoned by liberal Christian theologians. Not only does it fail to reflect what science has taught us about human origins, it’s not even an accurate reading of the Bible verses on which it’s supposedly based. Rev.
