On October 15, 1582, Pope Gregory XIII implemented the Gregorian Calendar.  October 4 of that year was followed directly by October 15 to implement the new calendar system.  The Gregorian Calendar has become the most widely used civil calendar system in the world.  Come join Diane Wright to reflect on the ways human beings track time, and what it means for the way we understand our place in the world.
