Join Hopedale UUA General Assembly delegates Russ Vie Brooks and Libby Earle to learn about this year’s business of the Unitarian Universalist Association. Presenters will share results of voting and some highlights of the convention. New processes were implemented for voting. Important votes were made on Actions of Immediate Witness concerning COVID, climate change, and the war in Palestine. A Business Resolution stated that “affirmation of transgender, non-binary, Intersex, and gender diverse people is a Fundamental Expression of UU Religious Values.” A Responsive Resolution, “GA Support for October 7,” was offered by UUA President the Rev. Dr. Betancourt.
